136. Biedermeier glass

Biedermeier mouth-blown white opaline glass ornated with hand painted scutcheon (Hungarian) surrounded by oak boughs and with the inscription "Emlékül" ("As a Memory") painted with gold in a horizontal oval cartouche. The gilded surfaces are worn-off, and a hairline crack can be seen on one side of the glass. Made in the second half of the 19th century.
