675. Fayence plate - Strasbourg (?)

Hand painted tin-glazed earthenware (fayence) plate with chinoiserie pattern, showing a pipe-smoker man in the centre and flowers on the rim. There is a short hairline-crack at the rim, the glaze is rough or slightly worn-off at some parts. Made at the end of the 18th century, or at the beginning of the 19th century in Strasbourg (?), France.
